GROUND BREAKING FOR NEW TRAINING/CACHE STORAGE BUILDING
 

...AND THE GROUND SHOOK

Rescue Spec Bill Linskey sinks the bucket of the hydraulic excavator into a 40 ton slab of concrete.

SITE VIEW

Rescue Spec Bill Linskey smoothes out the site after removing all concrete slabs.  Rescue Spec
Paul Penachio is in Cat Loader on right batting clean up for the excavator.   The Task Force
Structural Engineers estimated over 180 tons of concrete were removed during the day.

TRAINING TOO!

While the machine operators prepared the building site.  The remainder of the Task Force rotated between
three tool stations.

AMKUS HYDRAULIC TOOL

Squad exercises Amkus spreaders to move heavy object.  Note hand pump
which can be used in tight spaces where the power unit will not fit or can not
operate due to fumes.  This station also utilized rams, power unit and cutters.

UTILIS HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSOR

Squad operates Utilis gas powered high pressure compressor to
refill air tanks.

GAS POWERED BREAKERS

Final station was gas powered drill breakers.  Both the Cobra Berema and
Pionja 120 drill breakers were used.  Concrete slab courtesy of ground breaking
project.
